V minulých dnech jsem na těchto stránkách publikoval první verzi projektu „Amici fontis“, kterou jsem dnes v důsledku nových informací stáhl. Záměrem celého projektu je zprovozněním fontánek v prvním patře přispět k příjemnému prostředí na fakultě. Měl schůzku s vedoucím Provozního oddělení panem Hájkem, který mě seznámil se současným stavem vodního okruhu obou fontánek a možnými variantami jejich opětovného spuštění.
Při zpracování původního projektu jsem vycházel z chybného předpokladu, že fontánky jsou stále napojeny na vodovodní řad a voda tak jimi protéká a necirkuluje. Skutečnost se má tak, že v devadesátých letech byla provedena rekonstrukce a fontánky byly napojeny na cirkulační systém vybavený novým čerpadlem. Jejich provoz tedy není nijak finančně náročný. Problém však tkví v tom, že poslední část vodních trubek (již v samotné fontáně), nebyla vyměněna za nové plastové (tak jako po celé délce okruhu) a je tedy patrně silně zarostlá vodním kamenem. Jsem nicméně přesvědčen, že existují chemické prostředky, které jsou schopny tento vodní kámen rozpustit a umožnit tak opětovné spuštění.
Na zasedání Senátu mám v úmyslu informovat o této situaci a požádat o schválení dalších kroků. Pokud Senát a pan tajemník nebudou nic namítat, lze zkušebně fontány spustit a případně provést i pokus o odstranění vodního kamene. O dalších krocích budu informovat.
